267-Room Hotel Coming to New Summerlin Ballpark Complex, New Team Branding Coming Saturday

Summerlin (NV) developer Howard Hughes Corp. has laid out plans for a 14-story, 267-room hotel just south of the new ballpark currently under construction for the soon-to-be-renamed Las Vegas 51s (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League).  The 4.3-acre project, on Pavilion Center Drive across from the company’s open-air Downtown Summerlin mall, would include a restaurant, rooftop bar and spa.  Read more and see photo here.  Meanwhile, the team will unveil its new name and logos this coming Saturday.  Read more here.

Ballpark Hotel on Deck in Fort Wayne

In two weeks, the Fort Wayne (IN) Plan Commission will decide whether to approve the primary development plan for a new 136-room, seven-story Hampton Inn & Suites hotel downtown near Parkview Field, home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps (Single-A, Midwest League), and Grand Wayne Center.  The plan calls for ground-floor retail and a rooftop bar overlooking the baseball field.  Read more here.

Phase 2 of Ballpark Village Ramping Up with $65M Hotel

A day after the city approved a key piece of the project’s financial package, Ballpark Village developers gave a clear signal that the project’s second phase is ramping up with a Wednesday announcement that a major hotel is joining the restaurants, office space and apartments planned along Clark Avenue.  Read more here.

Hard Rock to Bolster Hartford’s Downtown North Development

Knights Ditch Hotel Idea for Six-Story Office Building with Ballpark Amenities
