Summerlin (NV) developer Howard Hughes Corp. has laid out plans for a 14-story, 267-room hotel just south of the new ballpark currently under construction for the soon-to-be-renamed Las Vegas 51s (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League). The 4.3-acre project, on Pavilion Center Drive across from the company’s open-air Downtown Summerlin mall, would include a restaurant, rooftop bar and spa. Read more and see photo here. Ballpark Hotel on Deck in Fort Wayne
In two weeks, the Fort Wayne (IN) Plan Commission will decide whether to approve the primary development plan for a new 136-room, seven-story Hampton Inn & Suites hotel downtown near Parkview Field, home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps (Single-A, Midwest League), and Grand Wayne Center.
