Bees Turn to Humidor to Stop Cheap HRs

Salt Lake Bees LogoThe Salt Lake Bees (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League) have installed a baseball humidor at Smith’s Ballpark to keep the balls from shrinking, hardening and losing friction, which  can cause them pop off the bat for what Bees spokeman Kraig Williams calls “cheap home runs.”  Read more and view photo here.
