Blue Sox to Host 2014 NECBL All-Star Game, Unveil Logo

PRESS RELEASE – The Holyoke Blue Sox will host the 2014 NECBL All-Star Game on Sunday, July 20, and in addition the team unveiled the logo it will use for the event, it was announced today by Blue Sox Owner and President Clark Eckhoff.

Holyoke Blue Sox Name New GM

PRESS RELEASE – The Blue Sox today named Hunter Golden as the team’s new General Manager. Owner & President Clark Eckhoff made the announcement on behalf of the organization. The team will officially introduce Golden at a press conference scheduled for Wednesday, December 4 at 3pm at La Quinta Ins & Suites in Springfield, MA, 100 Congress Street.

Former Woodchucks Owner Introduced as Holyoke’s New President

PRESS RELEASE – A new chapter for the Blue Sox began on Wednesday as Clark Eckhoff was officially introduced as the new team president. Running a baseball organization is nothing new to Eckhoff, considering he has done it in the past and has found success.

Holyoke Fans to Dance for World Record

PRESS RELEASE – The Blue Sox find themselves atop the standings in the Western Division of the NECBL entering play on Wednesday, but after Thursday’s home game against the Newport Gulls the Blue Sox hope to remain in first place and also find their name written into the record books.

New GM Hired in Holyoke

The New England Collegiate Baseball League’s Holyoke (MA) Blue Sox announced today the hiring of Kirk Fredricksson as the team’s new general manager.  Fredricksson is a 14-year veteran general manager in the NECBL, with tours in Torrington (CT) and New Bedford (MA).  Read more here.
