A ceremonial groundbreaking for the new Capital Credit Union Park to be build in the Village of Ashwaubenon (WI) in Green Bay for the soon-t0-be-renamed Green Bay Bullfrogs (Summer Collegiate, Northwoods League) will be held today at 11 am.  View list of seven possible new team names here.

Groundbreaking Set for New Madison (AL) Ballpark

The city of Madison on Thursday announced plans for a groundbreaking ceremony for the multi-use facility that will be home to the city’s new minor league baseball team.  Read more here.

Fond du Lac Holds Ballpark Groundbreaking

Fond du Lac Baseball held a ceremonial groundbreaking Tuesday to mark the beginning of the renovation project at Herr-Baker Field.  The facility will be the home of the yet-to-be-named Fond du Lac (WI) franchise in the summer collegiate Northwoods League.  Read more and watch video here.

Hartford Breaks Ground on New Ballpark

Let the construction begin!  City and team officials in Hartford (CT) held a ceremonial groundbreaking on Tuesday at the corner of Main and Trumbull to officially begin construction of the $56 million baseball stadium for the relocating Double-A New Britain Rock Cats (Eastern League).  Read more and watch video report here.

Solomon: Hartford Ballpark Construction to Begin Soon
