Drive Announce Major Improvements to Fluor Field

Cloudy With a Chance of Eggs in Greenville

Fluor Field in downtown Greenville (SC), home of the Single-A Greenville Drive, was the place to be on Saturday where 7,000 Easter egg hunters grabbed up thousands of eggs dropped from a helicopter.  The eggs were filled with candy or tickets for prizes, including iPods, flat screen televisions, gaming systems, and cash.  The event was sponsored by Envision Church.  Read more here.

Drive Helping Drive Economy

The City of Greenville (SC) has had an exciting renaissance over the past 25 years.  Once known as “The Textile Capital of the World,” the city has gone from downtrodden to economic powerhouse with white hot international appeal.  While the arrival of job creators like BMW (Germany), Michelin (France) and GE Aviation have fueled growth, the development of Fluor Field, the home of the Greenville Drive, has played an integral role in Greenville’s incredible downtown revival.  Read more here.
