The Chico Heat (Summer Collegiate, Great West League) have announced they will be playing baseball in Nettleton Stadium on the campus of Chico State University in Chico (CA) until 2020. When Seattle Seahawks punter Jon Ryan purchased a minority stake in the Portland Pickles baseball club back in April, he stated his intention to be involved in the operations of the team, while helping to craft an eccentric atmosphere at the ballpark. A baseball stadium in Lincoln (CA) that was originally christened at the end of World War II has received a $1.1 million makeover in order to will host the William Jessup University baseball team and newly formed Lincoln Potters (Summer Collegiate, Great West League).
