New Saints Ballpark: Turf Installation in 2 Minutes

St. Paul Saints Hat LogoIf a two-minute, time-lapse video of the natural grass being installed at the new CHS Field currently under construction in Lowertown for the indy pro St. Paul Saints (American Association) doesn’t get you at least a tiny bit excited for opening day at the new digs next spring, nothing will.  Watch video here.

Marlins Park: Where’s the Lush Green Turf, Umbrella?

We visited the new Marlins Park in early April (photos to be shared soon), and we found the natural grass to be a bit drab, which sort of took away from the bright and colorful Miami “feel” of the new stadium.  The Marlins are working to revive it.  Oh, and the retractable roof is leaking too, which is another kink that must be worked out.  Read more here
