Glendale Swimming in Ballpark, Sports District Debt
The economy and a number of other challenges have put the City of Glendale (AZ) in a serious financial pickle. Riviera to Bring Summer Collegiate Team to Glendale
Restauranteur and former MLB scout Tony Riviera plans to announce today that he is bringing a new California Collegiate League franchise to Glendale (CA). The club’s name, logo, and uniforms are also expected to be unveiled. The team will play at Stengel Field, which was named after famed New York Yankee manager Casey Stengel, who lived in Glendale before he passed in 1975. Read more here.
