Crosstown Rivals in the St.Louis Metro

Grizzlies to Host 2014 Frontier League All-Star Game

New Turf Helps Maximize Revenue at GCS Ballpark

GCS Ballpark, the 10-year-old home of the indy pro Gateway Grizzlies (Frontier League), is staying incredibly busy these days, due in no small part to the new artificial turf installed earlier this year.  Grizzlies events manager Jeff O’Neill calls the new field “a blessing.”  Read more here.

Grizzlies Take Food Choices Seriously

One of the longest tenured employees working for the indy pro Gateway Grizzlies (Frontier League) is Director of Ballpark Operations and “food guru” Brent Pownall.  Each year, Pownall must come up with at least one new food item, and this year’s selection is Country Bob’s chicken sandwich.  Well, it’s no Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut bacon cheeseburger, but it still looks pretty tasty.  Read more here.

Grizzlies Going Artificial
