Globe Life Park Finds New Life
WWE mogul Vince McMahon’s spinoff group Alpha Entertainment has announced the eight franchises for the second incarnation of the XFL, which is scheduled to begin play in 2020. Among the eight inaugural franchises: one that will call Globe Life Park in Arlington (TX) it’s home. Read more here.

Former Home of Atlanta Braves, Olympics Begins New Chapter
The former home of the Atlanta Braves and the 1996 Summer Olympic Games begins its new chapter as the 24,000-seat home of Georgia State’s fledgling football program. FXFL Football Team Coming to MCU Park

Frisco’s Dr. Pepper Ballpark to Host Football Championship Game Pep Rally
The North Dakota State University Bison have moved their 1-AA (FCS) championship game pep rally from a smaller venue to Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco (TX), home of the Double-A Frisco Roughriders (Texas League). The Bison will take on the Sam Houston State Bearkats again for the division championship at FC Dallas Stadium in Frisco on Jan. 5. Read more here.
