Sounds Ballpark Gets New Name
Ballpark-Area Project Slated to Begin Next Summer
A summer groundbreaking is being eyed for an apartment building to hug First Tennessee Park, home of the Nashville Sounds (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League), and front the Cumberland River Greenway. Nashville-based developers and brothers Chris Ward and Tim Ward, who own Ward Brothers Development LLC, will oversee the project. Read more and view renderings gallery here.
Local Art-Focused Mini Golf Course to be Added to First Tennessee Park

Sounds Attendance Jumps 43.3% in New Ballpark
There is a long season ahead before we can truly determine the success of the new Sulphur Dell ballpark built for the Nashville Sounds (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League), but 16 home games in, the team has had three sellouts, and attendance has increased by 43.3% over last year from an average of 4,909 to 7,034. Mayor, Sounds Announce Parking Plan for First Season at First Tennessee Park
Mayor Karl Dean and the Triple-A Nashville Sounds (Pacific Coast League) announced Friday a parking plan for fans attending games during the 2015 season at First Tennessee Park. Price Tag Rises for New Nashville Ballpark
