Early Signs of Trouble for Mount Rainier Professional Baseball League

Thursday, May 21, marked the launch of the Mount Rainier Professional Baseball League season with games in Oregon City (OR) at Clackamas Community College baseball field, White Fish (MT) at Memorial Park, and Moses Lake (WA) at Larson Field.

Ellensburg Bulls Get Owners

The Ellensburg Bulls of the start-up Mount Rainier Professional Baseball League have announced that SLYSPORTS LLC, headed by MLB veteran and current Benedict College head baseball coach Selwyn Young, has purchased the franchise.  The team will play at Rotary Park in Ellensburg (WA) (Pop. 18,363).  Read more here.  It does not appear that the Rotary Park ballfields  have lights.  Games start at 6:05 pm.
