On the morning of Jan 23, 2018, it was discovered that the Field of Dreams Movie Site ball diamond in Dyersville (IA) was destroyed by truck tire damage. Many areas of the turf had been ripped up with potential damage to the refurbished irrigation system. The GoFundMe site that was launched to help fund repairs has already raised $18,176.
