Fayetteville Officials Visit Durham Bulls Athletic Park
Some Fayetteville (NC) leaders would like to copy a few pages from Durham’s (NC) playbook when it comes to downtown revitalization, including building a new ballpark. As part of their exploratory efforts, officials visited the home of the Triple-A Durham Bulls (International League). Read more and watch news report here. Newly Renovated Durham Bulls Athletic Park
For its 20th season, the 21st-century Durham Bulls Athletic Park has received an extensive $20 million makeover, and fans and players alike will notice the improvements when the Bulls open defense of their IL championship against the Gwinnett Braves at 6:05 p.m. Thursday. The 2013 season of the Triple-A Durham Bulls (International League) was the 25th anniversary of the hit movie Bull Durham. New HD Videoboards Among Exciting DBAP Upgrades
PRESS RELEASE – The International League Champion Durham Bulls have announced details of new videoboards that will be among the highlights of a $19 million renovation project at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. City Renews DBAP Lease with Bulls
The Durham (NC) City Council has renewed its agreement with the Triple-A Durham Bulls (International League) to lease and operate Durham Bulls Athletic Park, also known as the DBAP. The agreement with the Bulls extends until 2033, with two additional five-year options for renewal. Read more here.
