Having sold a clothing business in Manhattan that had been in the Weber family for three generations, Drew and Joann were ready to do something crazy and fun. Calling it a “very, very, very tough decision,” Drew Weber said Saturday he has decided to sell the Lowell Spinners (Single-A, New York-Penn League) after 19 years of ownership during which he, his late wife Joann and the team became a part of the fabric of the city.  Read more here.
