PRESS RELEASE – The St. Paul Saints entered Minnesota in 1992 and played their first game in 1993. Many thought this plucky little organization wouldn’t last past that first year. The “little engine that could,” however has brought millions of people joy, laughter, and long-lasting memories. Now a brand-new documentary, For the Fun of the Game, created, written, directed and produced by Saints Director of Digital Media and Video Production, Jordan Lynn, will be featured as part of the “Insiders Series” for the Twin Cities Film Fest.

The summer collegiate Hyannis Harbor Hawks (Cape Cod League) are set to premiere the documentary Summer of Success tonight at 7:30 p.m. (EST). While the video focuses on the Hawks, the team says it’s really a representation of the Cape League experience. Continue reading
Keith Chirgwin, an audio editor who has worked on Academy, Emmy, Peabody and Grammy award-winning projects, and his friend Scott Smith, a researcher and writer, are working on a new documentary about the summer collegiate Cape Cod League that will be shopped to the major cable sports channels and hopefully picked up as a docu-series. PBS plans to air a documentary on Tuesday, March 27, at 9 p.m. about Fenway Park called Inside Fenway Park: An Icon at 100, to celebrate the stadium’s 100th anniversary. Narrating the one-hour program will be actor and Red Sox fan Matt Damon. Check your local listings. Read more here.

Rick Pettigrew is making a documentary about historic Civic Stadium, former home of the Single-a Eugene (OR) Emeralds. Pettigrew has created a trailer but needs $50,000 to complete the project.
