David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid (OK) has new artificial turf. Paul and Joan Allen, who had the facility built in 1999 in honor of their son, David, donated the additional funds to install the new infield and warning track. Enid Ballpark a True Community Asset
While David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid (OK) does not host minor league baseball, it is a fine example of a true community asset/gathering place. In addition to hosting amateur teams and the NJCAA Division II World Series, it holds events like the Enid Symphony Orchestra and movie night scheduled for next Saturday. Read more here. Fans Enjoy NBA Finals at Enid Ballpark
More than 1,000 residents of Enid (OK) showed up at David Allen Memorial Ballpark to watch Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat on the facility’s big video board. Read more here.

All About Enid’s David Allen Memorial Ballpark
Des Moines Area Community College coach Dan Fitzgerald is a huge fan of Enid, Oklahoma’s David Allen Memorial Ballpark. In fact, he calls is “the cathederal of Division II junior college baseball.” Indeed, David Allen is a great little ballpark with a very touching history. The stadium hosts a ton of event, including the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) Division II World Series from May 26 – June 2. Read more here.
