Cannon Ballers Merchandise Selling Fast, Learn More About the History and Development Behind the New Brand
Cleveland’s Cuyahoga Community College (the largest community college in Ohio), which is referred to by students, faculty and others in the city as Tri-C, have changed the name of their athletic teams, including the baseball team, from Challengers to Triceratops. The new brand identity was unveiled this morning. You can thank expert sports-branding designer Dan Simon from Studio Simon for the delicious dino delivery. Read more here.
PRESS RELEASE – The Charleston RiverDogs are dropping the RiverDogs name to pay homage to a local culinary favorite and a ballpark icon when they become the Charleston Boiled Peanuts for one night only on Saturday, July 28 at Joe Riley Park.
The Erie SeaWolves (Double-A, Eastern League) will change their name to the “Erie SnowWolves” for a day to celebrate “Christmas in July” on Friday, July 27. Brillion (WI)-based Ariens Company will be the presenting sponsor. On this special occasion, the team will wear custom on-field jerseys and caps designed by Dan Simon of Louisville (KY)- based design firm Studio Simon. There is a lot going on in Daytona (FL), as the Daytona Tortugas (Single-A, Florida State League) have announced a new video board, the Shell’s Kitchen food truck, and cool new ball caps honoring colleges in the state. Now comes a new alternate logo for the batting-practice cap designed by Dan Simon of Studio Simon.
