Facelift Progress for Bismarck Ballpark
Construction continues on the $1.5 million renovation of Municipal Ballpark in Bismarck (ND). The new grandstand will have covered seating for 1,000 fans. Other improvements will include a new clubhouse for players and improved concession, restroom, press box and main gate facilities. Bismarck has been talked about as a possible location for a summer collegiate Northwoods League team. Read more here.

Bismarck Receives Grant From Twins for Ballpark Makeover
The Bismarck (ND) Parks and Recreation department has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Minnesota Twins to help renovate Bismarck Municipal Stadium. There has been talk for some time about the facility eventually hosting a summer collegiate Northwoods League franchise. Read more here.

Bismarck Moves Forward with Stadium Renovations
The Bismarck (ND) Park Board on Thursday voted to finalize a plan to renovate Bismarck Municipal Ballpark. The $1.5 million project is expected to begin this summer. Bismarck has been talked about for years as a target market for the summer collegiate Northwoods League. The stadium was the home of the indy pro Dakota Rattlers from the defunct but once-promising Prairie League in the mid 90s. Read more here.
