Creighton Open House at TD Ameritrade Last Night, Opening Day Today

An estimated 3,000 people showed up at TD Ameritrade Park Monday evening for Creighton University’s open house, and fans appeared to come away impressed.  From what little bit we could see of the stadium bowl in a photo appearing in the Omaha paper this morning, it looks pretty sweet.  A game between Creighton and Nebraska at 6:30 p.m. tonight will officially open the new park.  Read more and view photo here.

Opening Day Next Week for TD Ameritrade Park

Crews are putting the finishing touches on TD Ameritrade Park, the new home for the College World Series, as operators prepare to host a sell-out crowd of 24,000 for a game next Tuesday between  Nebraska and Creighton.  Read more here,
