Phillies, Aramark Announce Ballpark Upgrades

PRESS RELEASE – The Phillies and Aramark, Citizens Bank Park’s exclusive food and beverage provider, are currently transforming 24,500 square feet of space adjacent to the Third Base Plaza into Pass and Stow, a new area that features an outdoor beer garden and bar, Foundry Pizza serving brick-oven pizza, a family-friendly sports pub, 44 TVs to catch game action, and more. The offseason upgrades also include a 120-seat Shake Shack.

Bill Joel Returns to Citizens Bank Park

On Friday, the Philadelphia Phillies and Live Nation Philadelphia announced Billy Joel, the Piano Man, would be returning to Citizens Bank Park for his sixth consecutive annual show scheduled for May 24 — a few weeks after his 70th birthday.  Read more here.

Citizens Bank Park Improvements Include ‘The Yard’ Mini Ballpark

The Philadelphia Phillies are taking the fan experience to the next level this season with several new attractions at Citizens Bank Park.  The largest enhancement to the ballpark is The Yard, a 13,000-square-foot “major league” park that delivers an interactive baseball experience that literally gets kids in the game.  Read more and watch video here.

Upgrades Underway at Citizens Bank Park

Newly Branded Wine for Phillies Fans

Philadelphia Phillies LogoChaddsford Winery, located in Delaware County, unveiled a newly branded blend called “Phillies Wine.”  It is available at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies, and at select retailers in the tri-state area.  A “Phillies Wine Weekend” is scheduled for April 18th and 19th at the winery.  Read more and watch news report here.

Phillies Ballpark Readies for 2012 Winter Classic

Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies, will host the NHL’s 2012 Winter Classic on Jan. 2 at 1:00 p.m. EST between the Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Rangers.  Check out a time lapse video here of the field being transformed into an outdoor hockey rink.
