The Chicago White Sox and Goose Island Beer Company are teaming up to create a special section dubbed “The Goose Island” in the right field bleachers of Guaranteed Rate Field. Bringing the Game to Kenya
Chicago White Sox scout John Tumminia and his partners are working to raise enough funds to bring a free baseball and softball clinic — along with 500 bats and balls, 300 baseball caps, and a dozen hitting tees — to at least 500 elementary and middle school children at the Kipkeino Primary School in Kenya in October. Fan Arrested After Going Swimming for Historic Ball

Rough Season for Chicagoland Beer Vendors
Beer sales are reportedly down 30 percent at Wrigley Field and U.S. Cellular Field. Arguably, “The weather, the losses, and the no-shows…” are at least part of the problem. Attendance is down 2,313 and 1,117 per game for the Cubs and White Sox, respectively, so far this season. Read more here.
