Demolition of Candlestick Park Nearly Complete

Saying Goodbye to Candlestick Park

San Francisco Giants Logo OrangeCandlestick Park, the home of the San Francisco Giants from 1960-99, will likely stage its last major athletic event on Monday night when the San Francisco 49ers play their final regular-season home game against the Atlanta Falcons.  Next season, the 49ers will christen a new state-of-the-art stadium in Santa Clara (CA), spelling Candlestick’s end.  Read more here.
