Arizona Fall League’s Desert Dogs Franchise Moving to Camelback Ranch

PRESS RELEASE – The Arizona Fall League, Major League Baseball’s annual graduate school for the game’s top prospects, announces the relocation of its Desert Dogs franchise to Camelback Ranch-Glendale, the spring training home of the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers, beginning in 2013.

Glendale Swimming in Ballpark, Sports District Debt

The economy and a number of other challenges have put the City of Glendale (AZ) in a serious financial pickle.  Last year alone, the city had to borrow $13 million to pay $31 million in debt payments for a sports district that includes a hockey arena for the struggling Phoenix Coyotes, Camelback Ranch Glendale spring training facility, conference center, media center, and parking garage.  The
