City, Bombers Agree to Lease Extension

The Battle Creek Bombers are staying put here in Battle Creek. The Northwoods League franchise and the City of Battle Creek announced an extension on the Bombers’ current lease, which was set to expire following the 2016 season. The extension adds on another five years, meaning the Bombers will continue to call Battle Creek and C.O. Brown stadium home through at least 2021.

Bombers Ink Long-Term Lease Extension, League Targeting Kalamazoo (Updated Link)

The summer collegiate Battle Creek Bombers (Northwoods League) have agreed to a five-year lease extension with the city to continue using C.O. Brown Stadium until 2017, with an option for an additional five years.  Also, as we have discussed before, the Northwoods is targeting Kalamazoo for expansion and hopes to bring them into the fold for 2013.  Read more here.
