The city of Butler’s Parks and Recreation Ground and Facilities Authority, which operates the indebted Kelly Automotive Park baseball stadium, home of the summer collegiate Butler Blue Sox (Prospect League), voted to disband Monday. Stadium Authority Behind on Butler (PA) Ballpark Payments
The city of Butler’s cash-strapped Parks and Recreation Grounds and Facilities Authority, often referred to as the stadium authority, has missed three mortgage payments, each of about $9,000, on a $1.7 million mortgage for Kelly Automotive Park, more commonly known as Pullman Park.
