The Ruston (LA)-based Louisiana Teach University Bulldogs baseball team is scheduled to play in nine conference games at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson (MS) in 2020. The team was forced to move out of their home ballpark because of an April 2019 tornado. Smith-Wills has narrowly avoided demolition and was leased to a new sports management group last year. Mississippi State Announces Plans for New Ballpark
Mississippi State University has announced plans for a new $40 million baseball stadium for the Bulldogs. The ballpark will be a completely new facility on the site of the current Dudy Noble Field/Polk-Dement Stadium, rather than a renovation of the existing structure. Read more and view renderings here. Mississippi State Exploring Options for Baseball Facility
On Monday night, Mississippi State University held the first of two public sessions to hear fan input regarding the future of 27-year-old Dudly Noble Field, home of Bulldogs baseball team. All options are on the table, including improving, renovating or replacing the facility. Read more here.

UNC Asheville Raising Funds for New Ballpark

Athletic Association Approves Funding for Initial Ballpark Renovations
The University of Georgia Athletic Association’s board of directors have appropriated $1.35 million to begin the first stage of renovations to Foley Field, home of the Georgia Bulldogs baseball team.
