A Loudoun Circuit Court judge said he would not permit further delays in the trial over a soured stadium deal between One Loudoun Holdings LLC and Virginia Investment Partnership LLC’s (VIP) led by Bob Farren, unless VIP’s attorney provides a “detailed letter” from Farren’s doctor explaining why cannot participate. Farren is reportedly undergoing cancer treatment, but One Loudoun’s attorneys have accused him of intentionally delaying the trail while he seeks an alternative location for the stadium. Loudoun Baseball Trial Delayed
The legal saga that has stalled Loudoun’s pursuit of professional baseball will drag on a few more months after a judge on Friday granted a nearly five-month continuance because of the ailing health of Virginia Investment Partnership LLC’s (VIP) Bob McFarren. Atlantic League Still Optimistic About Loudoun County
The president of the independent Atlantic League confirmed Tuesday that a membership application fee submitted by Virginia Investment Partnership LLC (VIP) led by Bob Farren has been returned, meaning another group is free to pursue the rights to an expansion franchise with the league in Loudoun County (VA).
