Facelift Progress for Bismarck Ballpark

Dakota Rattlers Logo Construction continues on the $1.5 million renovation of Municipal Ballpark in Bismarck (ND).  The new grandstand will have covered seating for 1,000 fans.  Other improvements will include a new clubhouse for players and improved concession, restroom, press box and main gate facilities.  Bismarck has been talked about as a possible location for a summer collegiate Northwoods League team.  Read more here.

Bismarck Receives Grant From Twins for Ballpark Makeover

Northwoods League Logo wo WordmarkThe Bismarck (ND) Parks and Recreation department has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Minnesota Twins to help renovate  Bismarck Municipal Stadium.  There has been talk for some time about the facility eventually hosting a summer collegiate Northwoods League franchise.  Read more here.

Bismarck (ND) on Deck for Northwoods League

Bismarck Moves Forward with Stadium Renovations

Dakota Rattlers LogoThe Bismarck (ND) Park Board on Thursday voted to finalize a plan to renovate Bismarck Municipal Ballpark.  The $1.5 million project is expected to begin this summer.  Bismarck has been talked about for years as a target market for the summer collegiate Northwoods League.  The stadium was the home of the indy pro Dakota Rattlers from the defunct but once-promising Prairie League in the mid 90s.  Read more here.
