The Billings Mustangs (Rookie, Pioneer League) are celebrating their 12th season of professional baseball at Dehler Park with a massive upgrade: a spectacular new 16mm HD videoboard. The new videoboard will be manufactured and installed by South Dakota-based Daktronics, the world’s industry leader in designing and manufacturing electronic scoreboards, programmable display systems and large screen video displays. Mustangs Working on New Lease, Enhanced Amenities on Deck
The Billings Mustangs (Rookie, Pioneer League) and the city are in the process of negotiating a new lease agreement for Dehler Park. The team wants to build a three-thousand square-foot, glass enclosed “great Room” above the concessions stand and concourse down the third base line and a zip line in the area between left and center field to the sidewalk along 10th Avenue North. New Owners of Billings Mustangs Talking Ballpark Upgrades
Dehler Park will be in for major upgrades if the new owners of the Billings Mustangs (Rookie, Pioneer League) accomplish even some of the amenities they have planned. Ideas include a children’s play area beyond the center field wall, installation of Wi-Fi throughout the park, an activity center off left field, a group area down the first-base line, and a community room behind home plate. Heller Buying Mustangs? Team Plans ‘Major Announcement’ Friday

Suitor Negotiating to Buy Billings Mustangs
The owners of the Rookie-level Billings Mustangs (Pioneer League) are in “very preliminary” talks with a party interested in buying the club, according to Woody Hahn, president of the Mustangs’ board of directors, which controls 542 ownership shares. The 458 remaining shares are owned by 91 individuals or groups. The Mustangs lease relatively new Dehler Park for $30,000 a year. Read more here.

For the fourth year, Dehler Park in downtown Billings (MT), home of the Rookie-level Billings Mustangs (Pioneer League), will be open to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays throughout the summer to allow folks to get their exercise during lunchtime strolling around the stadium’s wraparound concourse. Dehler Makes Good on Donation Payment for Ballpark Naming Rights
Jon Dehler, the owner of Fleetwood Gaming Inc. who pledged $1 million for the naming rights to $12.5 million Dehler Park, home of the Rookie-level Billings Mustangs (Pioneer League), is now current on his donation commitment after making a $50,000 payment to the city last week.
