The Long Island Ducks (Independent Professional, Atlantic League) celebrated 20 seasons of baseball Friday, and at least 10 more are on the way. As a capper to the pregame ceremony honoring the milestone before the Ducks faced the High Point Rockers at Bethpage Ballpark, team founder and CEO Frank Boulton signed a 10-year extension on the ballpark’s lease with Suffolk County. Introducing: The “New” Bethpage Ballpark
PRESS RELEASE – On Wednesday evening, Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone, the Long Island Ducks and representatives from the Suffolk County Department of Public Works unveiled the team’s brand new LED field lighting system. Ducks Complete Ballpark Field Makeover
PRESS RELEASE – The Long Island Ducks have announced the completion of a playing field makeover at Bethpage Ballpark, home of the Atlantic League club for 17 years. Ducks Introduce Unique ‘Trout Town Fan Can’ VIP Seating Area
PRESS RELEASE – The Long Island Ducks, along with Seating Solutions, a custom spectator seating company located in Commack (Long Island), N.Y., will be installing and introducing the “Fan Can”, the Ultimate VIP Fan Experience to fans of the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League at Bethpage Ballpark in 2015.
Long Island Ducks Stadium to Get New Roof
Suffolk County (NY) officials are expected to soon approve spending $600,000 for a new roof for Bethpage Ballpark, home of the indy pro Long Island Ducks (Atlantic League), which was damaged by Hurricane Sandy. The money would be drawn from the facility’s capital improvement fund. At least one elected official is confident funds spent would be recouped from FEMA. Read more here.

Ducks Park Has New Name
The Home for the Atlantic League’s Long Island Ducks is now Bethpage Ballpark. Bethpage Federal Credit Union reportedly paid $2.1 million to name the 10-year-old, 6,000-seat facility until 2020. Read more here.
