Surf Stadium, aka “The Sandcastle,” former home of the Atlantic City Surf (Independent Professional, Can-Am League/Atlantic League), is undergoing continuous renovations as Atlantic City (NJ) plans for it’s future. Two companies made bids for Bader Field on Thursday. Legend Properties, based in Cherry Hill, and Bader Field Development LLC, located in Long Branch, were reportedly the only two to offer money for the former municipal airport adjacent to The Sandcastle, former home of the Atlantic City Surf (Independent Professional, Can-Am League/Atlantic League). After $260,000 in repairs, Bernie Robbins Stadium (aka “The Sandcastle”), former home of the indy pro Atlantic City Surf, is ready for the three-day Dave Matthews Band festival June 24 to 26 and the Atlantic City Summer Fest music concert on July 2.
