PRESS RELEASE – West Coast League commissioner Rob Neyer announced this morning that the league’s 2019 All-Star Game will be played at Vince Genna Stadium, home of the Bend Elks. The exact date for the annual mid-summer classic will be released along with the full 2019 WCL schedule in the fall.

Bend Elks Begin Season Under New Management
For the first time in the team’s 16-year history, the Bend Elks (Summer Collegiate, West Coast League) are under new management. But other than a few changes like Vinnie the Elk replacing Homer as the team’s new mascot and a new moose-inspired cap logo, it’s expected to be business as usual for the franchise. Read more here.

New Lease for New Owners of Bend Elks
Long-time owner Jim Richards recently sold the successful summer collegiate Bend Elks (West Coast League) to a group called Let’s Play Ball LLC, out of Portland. Last week, the Bend Parks and Recreation Board approved a new five-year, $1 per year lease with the new ownership to use Vince Genna Stadium. Read more and watch news report here. New Regular Season Attendance Record Set by Elks
PRESS RELEASE – The Bend (OR) Elks have surpassed the club’s 2010 record setting attendance. After 23 dates the Elks have drawn 41,593 fans, eclipsing the all-time West Coast League mark of 37,963. The Elks have four regular season home dates remaining.
