Ballpark Business Releases 2016 Attendance Mega-Rankings

The Ballpark Business 2016 Per Game Average Attendance Mega-Rankings are here.  The Charlotte Knights (Triple-A, International League) capture the top spot for the third year in a row.  Still capitalizing on second-year CHS Field in Lowertown St. Paul (MN), the St. Paul Saints (American Association) are the top independent club moving up from #10 last year to #7 this year.  The Madison Mallards (Northwoods League) are once again the top summer collegiate performer at #28.

The annual list combines and ranks the per game average attendance of all affiliated, independent professional, and Top-100 summer collegiate franchises in the U.S. and Canada.  View rankings here.

Ballpark Business Releases 2010 Attendance Mega-Rankings

The independent professional Atlantic League closed the book on the 2010 regular season on Sunday.  The playoffs will push forward, but the Ballpark Business 2010 Per Game Average Attendance Mega-Rankings are here.  The Triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs (#1) top this year’s list, while the Long Island Ducks (#28) and Madison Mallards (#31) were the best in the independent professional and summer collegiate ranks, respectively.

Happy First Birthday, Ballpark Business!

Boy, time sure flies!  It was one year ago today that we posted our first link to a story about the future of baseball in Ottawa.  Since then, we have posted 1,450 stories covering the business of baseball at the MLB, MiLB, independent professional, and summer collegiate levels.  Thanks to all our many loyal visitors who have made our first year a very successful one!
