Girls Baseball Returns to Rockford’s Historic Beyer Stadium

All-American Girls Professional Baseball LeagueNewly renovated Beyer Stadium, the former home of the Rockford Peaches (All-American Girls Professional Baseball League) from 1943 to 1954, will host its first women’s baseball game in nearly 60 years when the Rockford Starfires and five other teams, including one from Australia, complete in the 2013 Midwest Women’s Baseball Invitational taking place Aug. 31-Sept. 2.  Read more here.

AAGPBL Alums to Play Charity Game Today in Syracuse
