Mid-Season Review for Pacifics Today

The seven-member Albert Park Advisory Committee will conduct a mid-season review Monday of the inaugural San Rafael Pacifics (North American League) playing at Albert Park.  The group includes three members from the adjacent neighborhood, one downtown business owner, two from the Pacifics’ ownership group, and one from the Parks and Recreation Commission.  Read more here.  View attendance numbers here.

San Rafael Neighborhood Group to File Lawsuit

San Rafael Gives Blessing to Indy Pro Ball at Albert Park

The San Rafael (CA) City Council on Monday unanimously approved an initial permit to allow Centerfield Partners, LLC to bring in a new indy pro North American League franchise to Albert Park starting in 2012.  A final negotiated lease deal will be brought before the council in October.  Read more here.

Opposition to San Rafael Ballpark Proposal Continues, Despite Scaled-Down Expansion

San Rafael (CA) Commission Approves Baseball Plan, City Council Up Next

The City of San Rafael (CA) Parks and Recreation Commissions has unanimously approved a plan (view proposal here) by Centerfield Partnership to upgrade Albert Park from 700 seats to 1,500 seats, and bring a new indy pro North American League (formerly Golden Baseball League) franchise to town.  The matter now will go before the city council for consideration. San Rafael (CA) Baseball Decision Delayed
