CC Kings Bring Economic Impact, All-Star Game to Springfield (OH)

The summer collegiate Champion City Kings (Prospect League) of Springfield (OH) had an economic impact of about $3 million in Clark County, according to local tourism officials.  The team is close to signing a four-year extension to stay at city-owned Carleton Davidson Stadium.  The Kings were recently awarded the 2016 Prospect League All-Star Game.  Read more here.

San Diego Awarded 2016 MLB All-Star Game

San Diego (CA) has been awarded Major League Baseball’s 2016 All-Star Game, Commissioner Bud Selig announced on Thursday.  It will be the third time the San Diego Padres will host the Midsummer Classic and first at Petco Park.  Read more and watch video here.
