PRESS RELEASES – As part of our continuous goal to continue improving the fan experience at Hammons Field and throughout our community, the Springfield Cardinals today announced the front office promotions of Brock Phipps to Director of Field Operations, Ross Fuller to Memberships Coordinator, Teresa Calhoun to Senior Premium Sales Account Executive, Garrison Pendergrass to Senior Community Marketing Coordinator and Regina Norris to Senior Marketing & Event Coordinator. Additionally, the Cardinals announced the front office additions of Randall Owens as Community Marketing Associate and Christy Berryman and Sheila Driemeyer as Office Coordinators.
Brock Phipps, Director of Field Operations
Entering his 15th year with the Springfield Cardinals, Brock oversaw the construction of the Hammons Field playing surface in 2003 and was on board during the Cardinals inaugural season in 2005. A nine-time winner of the Texas League Sports Turf Manager of the Year Award, Brock was instrumental in 2007 in establishing and serving as the first President of the Ozarks Sports Turf Managers Association. Brock and his staff have won a record-setting six Double-A Field of the Year awards, with the most recent coming following the 2018 season.
Ross Fuller, Memberships Coordinator
Ross enters his sixth season with the Springfield Cardinals as our new Memberships Coordinator after serving as the team’s Coordinator of Fan Services since the 2013 season. In his new role, Ross will be the main contact for RED Access Members with a focus on working to ensure that members know about and fully utilize all of the ground-breaking new perks and benefits in the newly launched program.
Teresa Calhoun, Senior Premium Sales Account Executive
After a 24-year career in Financial Services Marketing, Teresa joined the staff in February 2015 to pursue a profession in baseball which would allow her to promote and sell the team and experience she has long been passionate about. During her tenure with the Cardinals, Teresa has focused on developing our faith-based group program and has assumed additional responsibilities relating to the management of corporate suite relationships.
Garrison Pendergrass, Senior Community Marketing Coordinator
The 2019 season marks Garrison’s third full-time campaign with the Springfield Cardinals. Garrison is a main sales contact for RED Access Members, groups and businesses throughout Southwest Missouri, while also serving as a leader of our sales and marketing team. After moving to Springfield in 2014, Garrison began his career in sports as an Inside Sales Associate for the Springfield Cardinals during the 2016 season. He was then hired full-time as a Community Marketing Coordinator for the 2017 season.
Regina Norris, Senior Marketing & Event Coordinator
A San Diego native but a Drury University and Missouri State University graduate, the 2019 season will mark Regina’s second full season with the Cardinals after initially joining as a Community Marketing Coordinator before the 2018 season. This season, Regina will transition into coordinating the Cardinals on-field and external events as well as the team’s community presence throughout Southwest Missouri.
Randall Owens, Community Marketing Associate
The 2019 season will be Randall’s first full-time season with the Springfield Cardinals after debuting as an Inside Sales Associate during the 2018 season. Randall joins a Cardinals sales team that have all been with the organization for at least a full season and will work towards both creating new and maintaing existing relationships with local groups and businesses.
Christy Berryman and Sheila Driemeyer, Office Coordinators
Christy and Sheila both enter their first season with the Cardinals after joining the staff in February and are the two new faces at the Cardinals front desk where they are the first points of contact for visitors to our Front Office.
Before joining the Front Office, Christy worked for three years with the Springfield Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s communication departments. Prior to Sheila’s start in Minor League Baseball, she served as a high school librarian in various St. Louis County school districts.
