The realization of a new baseball stadium for Marshall University appears to taking the next big step. The Huntington Municipal Development Authority, the City of Huntington (WV), Marshall University and Marshall Athletics have scheduled a special announcement regarding the purchase of the Flint Group property, the planned site of the new ballpark, at an event at 3 p.m. Thursday.
