Mayor Plans to Demolish Greer Stadium, Turn Land into Park

Nashville (TN) Mayor David Briley is planning to seek $1 million in funding from the Metro Council to demolish Greer Stadium, former home of the Nashville Sounds (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League) and convert the land into a park.  The mayor plans to put the plan before the council in April.  Read more here.  Thanks to John Cerone for the link.
