The beautiful 6,700-seat ballpark on the Camden Waterfront, opened in 2001 for the departed Camden Riversharks (Independent Professional, Atlantic League), will be demolished soon, according to George E. Norcross III, a power hitter in South Jersey business and politics. Read more here.

Does anyone know what they are doing with the seats in this stadium? I’d love a set of seats, but really I hope they are given or sold at a discounted rate to an organization whose home is an older stadium.
I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure the FCBL’s North Shore Navigators stadium now have seats from the Braves’ former home, Fulton County Stadium.
Great! Another ballpark in New Jersey will “bite” the dust! I am glad that both investors and visionaries made such great efforts to build these facilities for economic growth. These are not ballparks that were built eons ago and were home to professional baseball during WWII, but ones built this century!
