PRESS RELEASE – Friday, June 2 will be a “groovy” night at AutoZone Park as we throw it back to the 1960s! Fans can purchase a $17 Field Box or $20 Dugout specialty ticket that includes an actual record sleeve styled with Redbirds history like the iconic Beatles “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” album, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2017.
The team will also be wearing special “Sgt. Pepper’s” jerseys, which will be auctioned with proceeds benefiting the Redbirds Community Fund.
Random purchasers of the specialty ticket will get the chance to have their record sleeve signed by select Redbirds.
In addition, the British Invasion Band Jeffrey and the Pacemakers will be playing in the Plaza before the game, where there will be a Friday Night Block Party that also includes $2 beers.
