The City of Richmond (VA) has announced a new agreement between the city, the Richmond Flying Squirrels (Double-A, Eastern League), and Virginia Commonwealth University that will commit the minor league team to stay in Richmond for a minimum of 30 years once a new ballpark is constructed. So why can’t college n full season teams get along elsewhere ?
They do…Charleston SC, Salt Lake, Durham, Springfield, Charleston WV, Bridgeport, etc.
