PRESS RELEASE – The Lexington County Blowfish are pleased to announce Brian Larkin as the team’s new general manager. Larkin joins the Blowfish from the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (AA Affiliate/Cincinnati Reds) and will officially join the front office Monday October 17th.
With the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, Brian has been responsible for developing and managing corporate sponsorships, group ticket sales and full/partial season ticket sales. Brian is originally from Cincinnati,Ohio. He currently resides in Florida and will be relocating to our area.
He is a 2013 graduate of the University of Mississippi receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In his free time Brian enjoys in-shore and off-shore fishing, cheering on Ole Miss Athletics, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds.
The Lexington County Blowfish are locally owned by Vicki and Bill Shanahan and operated by Shanahan & Company Sports Management. Blowfish co-owner Bill Shanahan stated, “Vicki and I are excited to have Brian join our team! The Pensacola Blue Wahoos are one of the top minor league franchises in the nation in attendance and tops in fan satisfaction. We are looking to learn from the best and continue to improve our fan experience at Lexington County Blowfish Baseball Games.” The Blowfish would like to thank our good friend Quint Studer, owner of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, for his help with this great addition to the Blowfish management team.
