United Shore League Wraps Up Inaugural Season, Adds Fourth Team for 2017 with More Changes Coming

United Shore Professional Baseball LeagueThe Utica Unicorns’ 5-0 victory Sunday over the Birmingham-Bloomfield Beavers in front of 3,851 fans at Jimmy John’s Field in the inaugural championship game of the United Shore Professional Baseball League marked the successful conclusion of the first phase of Andy Appleby‘s plan to launch his own developmental baseball empire.  Read more here.

    Metro Detroit has been an overlooked for way too long which IMO is why the uspbl worked

    Kind of surprised they did as well as they did. But I guess that shows that new independent leagues can be successful with proper planning.
