PRESS RELEASE – The Lowell Spinners, short season affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, will be hosting the “Tom Brady Birthday Bash” on Wednesday, August 3rd to celebrate to birthday of Lowell’s favorite quarterback, Tom Brady.
The night will include football themed promotions, birthday party shenanigans, and the singing of “Happy Birthday” to Tom Brady. Fans named either “Tom” or “Brady” will receive free entry to the stadium and fans who share a name with the quarterback will receive an opportunity to throw out a first pitch prior to the start of the game. Groups looking to attend the game will receive an opportunity to win a pair of 2016 preseason football tickets when they purchase 12 tickets to the game.
The night, which kicks off a three-game home stand, will also serve as a “$1,000 Hot Dog Night” in which fans can win cash when they purchase a hot dog at the concession stand. The following night, August 4th, will the team’s annual Jimmy Buffet Night, complete with a free themed jersey for the first 1,000 fans in the park. The home stand concludes with Princess Night, featuring a pregame on-field daddy-daughter parade and appearances from princesses including Ana, Elsa, Cinderella, and more!
