BlueClaws to Host First Luau July 2

Lakewood BlueClaws Alternative LogoPRESS RELEASE – The BlueClaws are thrilled to host our first BlueClaws Luau at the game on Saturday, July 2nd. While the game begins at 7:05, the fun starts early and ends late! Here’s the rundown:

Lakewood BlueClaws Luau

    • Gates open at 5 pm for a performance in the Coors Light WRAT Trap by the ParrotBeach Band, playing a Jimmy Buffet set until 6:45 pm.
    • There will be beer and drink specials as well including $5 Mai Tais and $5 Konas.
    • The South Pacific Island Dancers will provide between-innings entertainment and then after the game, they will have a 30-minute show that includes dancing, music, and a Samoan Fire Knife Dancer too.

Lakewood BlueClaws Luau JerseyPig Roast BBQ – Join the fun with a full Island-style Pig Roast BBQ buffet that includes a pig, spam with pineapple, hot dogs, hamburgers, fruit salad, mini corn on the cob, pasta salad, cookies, and watermelon. Special Jerseys – BlueClaws players will be wearing special jerseys which will be auctioned off via a silent auction on the concourse. Proceeds will benefit BlueClaws Charities and their Community Partners. An image of the jersey can be found on the right.

Be sure to get here early for the Parrot Beach Band beginning at 5 pm in the Coors Light WRAT Trap.
