PRESS RELEASE – The BlueClaws are thrilled to host our first BlueClaws Luau at the game on Saturday, July 2nd. While the game begins at 7:05, the fun starts early and ends late! Here’s the rundown:
- Gates open at 5 pm for a performance in the Coors Light WRAT Trap by the ParrotBeach Band, playing a Jimmy Buffet set until 6:45 pm.
- There will be beer and drink specials as well including $5 Mai Tais and $5 Konas.
- The South Pacific Island Dancers will provide between-innings entertainment and then after the game, they will have a 30-minute show that includes dancing, music, and a Samoan Fire Knife Dancer too.
Pig Roast BBQ – Join the fun with a full Island-style Pig Roast BBQ buffet that includes a pig, spam with pineapple, hot dogs, hamburgers, fruit salad, mini corn on the cob, pasta salad, cookies, and watermelon. Special Jerseys – BlueClaws players will be wearing special jerseys which will be auctioned off via a silent auction on the concourse. Proceeds will benefit BlueClaws Charities and their Community Partners. An image of the jersey can be found on the right.
