The digital sign network includes over a handful of television monitors present throughout the concourse level of Bowling Green Ballpark, linking Hot Rods fans with the Hancock Media Network immediately upon entering the gates.
“With the function of social media increasing every day, we wanted to make an effort to stand out from other professional sports franchises within that realm,” said Hot Rods General Manager/COO Eric Leach.
“The functions that Eyeconic TV has along with our growing network is really unprecedented when it comes to minor league baseball. The sky is the limit for this type of partnership.”
Whether you are on your way to the ballpark or already sitting in the seats, Hot Rods fans can make any sort of social media post (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), and it will immediately be linked to the television monitors inside Bowling Green Ballpark. The posts will be organized by location and linked by hashtags.
While being on display at Bowling Green Ballpark, the posts will also appear on Trending with Ashley Wilson at EYECONIC.TV studios on WNKY SOKY Sunrise.
In addition to unparalleled exposure, fans will have an opportunity to win prizes by engaging with the text loyalty kiosk function of the partnership. When fans check in at the loyalty kiosk either in person at Bowling Green Ballpark or via a text code present on the monitors in the concourse, they will receive a free Carousel ride. With a total of five check-ins, fan will receive a free hat and additional check-ins after that will result in other prizes such as free tickets.
“Never before has Minor League Sports seen this level of fan and community engagement,” said Jeremy Jacobs, CEO & Owner of Eyeconic TV. “Only a partnership between Hot Rods, Hancock Bank and EYECONIC.TV could bring an experience like this to life.”
Fans will be able to witness this evolution in digital media on June 9, as the Hot Rods will be welcoming the Fort Wayne TinCaps to Bowling Green Ballpark. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with first pitch scheduled at 6:35 p.m.
