Barons’ starter Carson Fulmer surrendered six earned runs in just over two innings pitched, giving up eight hits and walking one batter while posting two strikeouts. He threw 59 pitches, including 35 strikes.
Kyle Hansen tossed 2.2 innings in relief, allowing one earned run on three hits while adding three strikeouts. Reliever James Dykstra followed up with 2.2 innings as well, allowing two earned runs on five hits.
Hard-throwing Robinson Leyer delivered a scoreless appearance to close the game, tossing 1.1 innings without allowing a hit.
Offensively, Nicky Delmonico delivered his eighth home run of the season to put the Barons on the board, and Courtney Hawkins added a double in the 12-3 loss.
