West Coast League Targets Port Angeles (WA)

West Coast League LogoThe summer collegiate West Coast League is reportedly targeting Port Angeles (WA) as a new location for a baseball franchise.  The city of about 19,000 residents is just across the Strait of Juan de Fuca from Victoria (BC), home of the circuit’s Victoria HarbourCats.  If a deal is secured, the team would play at Civic Stadium with its great view of the Olympic Mountains.  Read more here.  Thanks to Brandon Sparks from OlySports.com for the heads up.
